Our charts are comparing data for February 2022 and February 2023. February 2023 Market Report Long Beach Island NJ inventory is still low, and pending sales are down as are closed sales. Across LBI’s six municipalities, closed sale prices are up significantly even with fewer sold units suggesting demand remains strong even though supply is limited. Despite the optimistically anticipated Spring Selling Season, we are still experiencing a frozen housing market. With Buyers and Sellers remaining on the sidelines, for a “thaw” to take place, expectations need to be in closer touch with reality and inventory needs to increase. Has the sizzle turned to fizzle? I can’t stop thinking about the poor whales

Here’s a great article I found posted on Breitbart.com. While extensive, it is definitely worth reading.

For years, Jersey shore leaders — mayors, fishermen, local councilmen, and lawmakers — have objected to the plans on the grounds that building the massive turbines necessary to generate energy could destroy critical fishing grounds. Now, bloated, decomposed whale carcasses floating onto boardwalk-lined beaches that families frequent, even in winter, to eat funnel cakes and play crane game machines are becoming a routine event, distressing locals who fear the shore may not be there for their children if the wind projects go forward.
