A word from Michelle discussing the October 2023 LBI NJ Market Report
As Thanksgiving and the Christmas season rapidly approach, we see Long Beach Island sales data trending downward along with the temperatures. The hope of a post-season rally did not materialize and inventory for active single-family homes remains low at 119 properties, well below a “normal” market. Paradoxically, it is still a good time to be a Buyer or Seller, as fortunate Buyers grab their “I want” home almost as soon as it hits the market. Sellers on the other hand can capitalize on sustained high prices. My advice to both is “Don’t wait, the time will never be just right”.
